We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us grow our footprint across veterinary hospitals and clinics. You’ll be the first point of contact for many future VetRec customers - identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads that VetRec is the perfect fit for.
This is a remote position with an in-person option in South Florida at our new Ft. Lauderdale/Aventura office

What will you be doing:
- Cold outreach and Introductions- Prospecting veterinary hospitals and clinics through outbound email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Qualifying leads and booking meetings for our sales team.
- Creating and iterating on outreach messaging that resonates with veterinarians.
- Building pipeline across multiple hospital tiers (solo DVMs to large multi-doctor groups).
- Attending trade shows, conferences, and local events to generate leads and meet clinics in person.
- Collaborate with Founding AE and leadership to target strategic accounts.
- Maintain clean, accurate records in our CRM Attio and reporting on outreach activity.

- Demonstrated experience with B2B SAAS sales
- You know how to connect with all types of veterinary professionals - from solo DVMs to practice managers to regional leaders - and speak their language.
- You think creatively to reach decision-makers whether it’s through timing, messaging, or approach.
- Rejection doesn’t slow you down - it sharpens your strategy and fuels your follow-up
- You have a startup mindset: resourceful, self-directed, and excited to help build something from the ground up.
- Veterinary experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation
- The base salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000
- OTE commissions structure
